Math Pickle
Several months ago I came across a tremendous little resource. Math Pickle is designed to get kids thinking about math by solving puzzles and problems. The site’s motto is “Put your students in a pickle” and that is exactly what they do. Standards aligned and grade level specific, the projects and problems found on this site are truly engage students and teachers alike. I often use my own children (ages 7 and 9) as resource detectives. They are great at providing feedback on how they like a particular tool or technology.
