Selpa Presents Using ALL the Data to Determine Student Need

Standardized academic testing is typically administered for the initial and triennial evaluations. With COVID-Related interruptions to in-person learning, students that did not participate fully during distance learning and other factors can lead to questions about the validity of the results of these tests. Many school districts utilize language proficiency data from the ELPAC and other tools when assessing English Learners. With or without a pandemic, teams need to utilize information beyond standardized testing to validate the results of standardized testing. Using data from a variety of sources is not only a legal requirement, but also helps to ensure that the IEP team has determined all of the needs of the student so that they can be addressed in their IEP. This training will focus on which other data sources to utilize and how to integrate that information alongside standardized testing results. Case studies will be used to assist participants in application of the content.

You will attend all three trainings but only need to sign up for the first one.
