The Student Intervention Matching-Form is designed to match Tier 2 interventions to students identified as emotionally or behaviorally at-risk. A teacher, other staff person, or team who is familiar with the student can complete the SIM. This form includes statements assessing a variety of characteristics associated with students that align well with the active ingredients of evidence-based Tier 2 interventions including Check-In/Check-Out (CICO), behavior contracts, school note communication system, self-monitoring, class pass, and small group social-emotional training. This workshop will provide the opportunity for special educators, Tier 2 teams, and interventionists to review the SIM and discuss evidenced based Tier 2 socio-emotional and behavior interventions.
