Literacy in Action: Data Literacy, Civic Action, and the YPAR Model

In this multi-part session, we will explore activities to help students critically read and respond to charts, graphs, and maps as well as models to get students researching and writing about local environmental issues with a variety of action-oriented genres.

One Unit of Academic Credit & Participation Stipend Available 

Attend at least five sessions and you will be eligible to register for one unit of credit from Cal Poly Humboldt’s Office of Extended Education and you can receive a $200 participation stipend from RWP.
