Ferndale USD will be hosting a training for guided reading on August 17th from 9:00-12:00 in the Ferndale High School Library for aides.  This will be a great opportunity for classroom aides to strengthen their teaching and support strategies in the area of reading instruction.  Rosie Slentz, Learning Specialist from the Humboldt County Office of Education will facilitate the workshop.
