This full day event (with two follow-up sessions over the course of the semester) is designed to introduce educators to the core elements of Google’s suite of applications and how to integrate them into their curriculum.  Participants will work collaboratively face to face and online with the following applications:

  • Google Drive (overview, docs, presentation)
  • Google Forms
  • YouTube
  • Google Groups
  • Google Sites
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Maps
  • Google Classroom
  • Google Add-ons and Extensions

By the end the course participants will be familiar with navigating the Google landscape, collaborating using a social network, have developed sample lessons to share and practice with colleagues, and have the opportunity to join a growing network of educators who have “Gone Google.”  There will be two optional face-to-face or online webinars over the course of the semester where participants will come together to learn, share and discover additional uses for Google in the classroom.
