4 seasons of Indigenous Learning a Personal Journey Towards Truth & Reconciliation

An Indigenous Learning Opportunity running from October to May annually.

Each year – or Season – builds on the next…

Beginning in the Fall, offered in partnership with over 50 non-profit organizations, this course serves to support participants in deepening their understanding of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives while strengthening connections with the local Land and supporting more respectful, reciprocal relationships This just a first step – a bridge in awareness and understanding to support local Indigenous learning opportunities.

We invite you to join us for…

Season 1: Foundations of Knowledge (USA)

This year of learning supports participants in deepening their knowledge of Indigenous culture, history and perspectives.

Areas covered include: 

  1. Colonialism
  2. Racism
  3. History
  4. Treaties
  5. Industrial Schools
  6. Terminology
  7. Relationships
  8. Reconciliation

This was developed in partnership with Reconciliation Education, and many organizations and partners committed to this work.

2024-2025 Indigenous Presenters for Monthly Virtual Presentations

  • Participants in all Seasons of Learning will be invited to come together for these Virtual Presentations
  • These will be held monthly on Thursdays at 4pm Pacific Time / 7pm Eastern Time and will be, on average, 60 minutes in length
  • These will be recorded and the recordings will be made available for all participants in the event you are unable to make them.
  • We will offer a Certificate of Attendance (8 Learning Hours) for everyone who watches all 8 presentations (either live, or the recording).
