Our first ever event of this kind is shaping up to be a pretty big deal. Not only do we have publishers coming from all over the state to share their curriculum, but local non-profits have graciously agreed to exhibit with us as well. We’ve selected groups that feature programs and activities that enrich learning in all subjects. You are going to have a chance to learn about field trip opportunities, local guest lecturers, professional development, and chat with other educators about what they are doing. If you are still deciding which ELA program to use, or if you simply want to view the presentation from a company you’ve already selected, this event offers the opportunity to build your knowledge about your options. Pick a State Approved ELA/ELD curriculum, sign up for a field trip, or learn about supplemental materials for a teacher created curriculum. We have it all–and popcorn! And don’t forget to check our Professional Learning Facebook page Monday night to see if you are the lucky winner of an Ipad or other goodies. We’ll be posting the winning number from the red tickets you’ll receive when you attend. Join us from 12-6pm in the Sequoia Center. This is a free event and you do not need to register–however, if you register it helps us plan better.
