iPad 101: Teaching with Tablets
New to iPads? Curious how to teach with them? Mobile technology offers a wonderful way to differentiate learning experiences for your students and to reinforce skills outlined in the Common Core. In this introductory workshop participants will have an opportunity to gain experience with the iPad through guided practice. It is encouraged that attendees bring their own device. A limited number of iPads will be available for those who do not have one.
Workshop Topics:
-General operations
-Navigate and customize the iPad environment
-Use the iPad camera and video camera
-System controls and settings
-App management
-Connecting the iPad to a projector or large screen television
-Classroom management apps
-Simple strategies to immediately improve your learning environment
