This two hour workshop will focus on changes to California school immunization law required by Senate Bill 277; this Bill eliminates the option of a personal belief exemption.

The workshop will cover the following topics: school immunization requirements, medical and personal beliefs exemptions, conditional admission, reporting and documentation. It will also discuss the legal implications of SB 277, school exclusion and attendance, and truancy implications for unimmunized or partially immunized students with IEPs. In addition, it will offer local resources for childhood immunizations and outline tools to notify parents/guardians of the requirements for school entry.
