An Outdoor Teaching Adventure at Big Lagoon Elementary

Come join your fellow educators for a three day, two night outdoor education experience. This professional development is designed for all educators TK-12 and Expanded Learning facilitators.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
• Utilizing phenomena-based instruction to guide outdoor teaching
• Promoting positive Behaviors in Outdoor Learning Environments
• Team Building Like a Jedi
• Garden Education Tips and Resources
• State Parks Campfire Program
• Social Hour and Campfire Program at Big Lagoon
• Resource Round-table for Environmental Literacy in and outside the classroom

Included in the cost is 6 meals and shared glamping accommodations in our new 16’x20’ canvas tents, resources binder including a copy of How to Teach Nature Journaling.

Check-in at 12:30 pm Thursday
Check-out at 12:00 pm Saturday

$375 per educator. Extended education until available through Cal Poly Humboldt.
