This is a stand alone training ($40.00) or a part of a training series (5 sessions plus reflective practice support $150) covering the core concepts of Infant-family and Early Childhood Mental Health.
The goals of this session are:
- Discovering the core concepts of Infant-family and Early Childhood Mental Health (IFECMH) practice:
- Reviewing promotion, prevention and treatment of mental health for young children
- Considering IFEMCH for multi-disciplinary practice, bringing together all disciplines and practitioners who serve young children and their families
- Braiding cultural responsive and humble work into programing and services
- Embracing family-centered services
- Utilizing a developmentally respectful and responsive framework
- Building understanding of how becoming a reflective practitioner will support you and the work that you offer children and families
Practitioners from all disciplines are welcome to this training and series. Space is limited to 16 participants for the full 5 session series that includes reflective practice facilitation.
