Culture Sharing and Early Education Leadership
Humboldt Area Foundation
Thursday, January 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Please join us for our free spring seminar series in celebration of the diversity within our communities and our Early Education programs. Our evening will include sharing of what we do, and what we can do, to better understand and benefit more fully from our valuable diversity. We will share strategies for encouraging understanding, participation, inclusion, equity and creativity. Seminar participants will receive information about resources available through the California Early Childhood Mentor Program, First 5 Humboldt and other organizations that support our important work. Some of these include: application information and support for a grant resource available through First 5 Humboldt, information about how to become a Mentor Teacher and earn stipends for providing mentoring and how to receive confidential, individualized mentoring free of charge.
You are eligible to participate and will benefit from this seminar if you fill any supervisory role in an Early Care program; from program directors to teachers who supervise other teachers.
There is no cost to attend this seminar and an ample evening snack is included.
Professional growth certificates verifying 2 hours of participation will be provided.
Please RSVP as soon as possible by texting or phoning 707-834-4677
