In partnership with California Teachers Association, Maggie Peters, Learning Specialist at HCOE, and Rachel Watson, Instructional Coach at Northern Humboldt Unified School District, will guide an evening of professional development focused to build capacity in teaching lessons about Native people of California. In addition to a reflective activity, participants will learn about how to partner in the development of curriculum about California Native people as well as learn about additional professional development opportunities available.
