This group will be facilitated by four local educators; Tina Peretz (elementary teacher), Roger Culps (middle school teacher), Micheal Gibson (student teacher, graduate program special education) and Beth Wylie (director of Fuente Nueva Charter School).

The purpose of the group is to introduce you to this framework by providing presentations on aspects of the book with time for supported group learning. This five week introduction series will be followed by an in-depth series starting September 2022 focused on deeper learning, presentations of what this looks like in our classrooms, and supported learning to guide you in the use of this equity framework for culturally and historically responsive literacy.
