- Because ERWC focuses on teaching reading and writing rhetorically and connecting reading to writing, this series is appropriate for teachers in all subjects, not just Language Arts. Middle school teachers who are currently using ERWC are especially encouraged to attend.
- ERWC provides a number of engaging modules that are ready for use in classrooms. These modules include high-interest topics like Helicopter Parents, Robots in School, Social Networking, and the Impact of Celebrities.
- Participants will also learn to create custom modules using ERWC templates and a diverse collection of effective scaffolding activities, assignments, and assessments.
- ERWC materials are aligned with CA Standards, with the grades 9-123 ERWC, and with college composition courses.
