The Next Gen Collaborative
Guided by local science educators Rebecca Baugh (Eureka High) and August Deshais (Ridgewood Elementary), designated site representatives will explore the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as adopted for California schools.
Participants will receive resources to share with colleagues at their school sites to help build capacity and readiness to implement Next Generation Science Standards prior to new assessments and new instructional materials (anticipated 2018).
Sessions will be held Wednesday afternoons January 27, February 24, March 30 and April 27 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Sequoia Conference Center at HCOE.
