The Approaches to Learning domain describes children doing the following:

• Engaging in play experiences that are socially interactive and meaningful.
• Initiating hands-on learning and problem-solving that stem from their interests.
• Demonstrating curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Planning, and making choices that reflect their interests.
• Adhering to routines and schedules.
• Collaborating and playing with other children and adults.
