The California Reading Summit brings together leaders in improving reading results in California to share successes and struggles, and help chart the course to move our state forward.
Everyone Has the Right to Read!
It’s time to Summit! This year’s CA Reading Summit will feature leading educators, policy makers, and advocates from across California and the US. This will be a half-day, all-virtual event.
Attendance is free, but registration required and space is limited.
Including Special Pre-Summit:
Clips & Conversation with Emily Hanford, Kymyona Burk, and Kareem Weaver, all featured in the new Right to Read movie on Tuesday, November 1 at 7pm Check out The Right to Read movie trailer!
In addition to updates from pioneering CA districts, speakers will include LAUSD Supt. Alberto Carvalho, literacy advocate Kareem Weaver, the UCSF Dyslexia Center, and a special appearance by NBA World Champion and dyslexia advocate Gary Payton II.
