HCOE is excited to underwrite this event arranged by California Mathematics Council to the Far North featuring keynote speaker Robert Kaplinsky. Robert has been an educator since 2003. He co-founded the website Open Middle, has been published in Edutopia and Education Week, is the author of Open Middle Math: Problems That Unlock Student Thinking, and creator of the #ObserveMe movement. He’s also the founder and president of Grassroots Workshops.

In addition to keynote speaker there will be grade level breakouts as follows:
TK to 2nd
3rd to 5th
6th to 12th

Light breakfast, coffee, & tea will be provided.

Every attendee will receive a free math book!
