Preschool Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations- Approaches to Learning Overview
The Approaches to Learning domain is a new domain within the Preschool Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations. This domain describes skills and abilities that children develop and demonstrate when provided with playful learning experiences that are socially interactive and meaningful to the child. Through these high-quality, intentionally planned learning experiences, young children can practice collaboration and problem-solving skills with peers and adults, demonstrate initiative and curiosity, and expand their capacity to manage distractions in their environment while building inhibitory control.
