Outdoor Classroom Training
This training will be an overview of outdoor classrooms: what they are and why we need them. We will discuss the elements and philosophical underpinnings of an outdoor classroom and how you can begin to develop one. (Session 1) We will present some of the logistics and challenges you may encounter, and things to consider as you begin, starting with the evaluation of your own site and concluding with some of the ways the outdoor environment can help with Covid safety protocols. (Session 2)
This is a 2-session training. Each session can be taken separately but Session 2 will build on the concepts discussed in Session 1.
