This training teaches participants to prevent violence and to safely de-escalate disruptive behavior, reducing the risk of injury to yourself and to students.

This is a two-part series that includes a three-hour online course, followed by a six-hour Zoom portion with a certified instructor.  Please remember to register using your school-associated account and your own name as this will be required for log-in to the online modules.  After your registration is processed on the Professional Development site and about 10 days before the Zoom training, each participant will receive an e-mail from “CPI Learning” with a link to complete a three-hour online training. This training must be completed prior to attending the Zoom portion of this training.  On the day of the Zoom, participants must log in within the first 10 minutes of the training ready with camera and microphone capabilities and be ready to participate.  Certification is available upon completion of the exam. Register early as class size is limited (Max of 60 participants)
