We hope this group will be a resource for our teachers and reading interventionists to learn more about science of reading literacy instruction and improvement science. Our first meeting, we will talk about the learning plan for the year and provide input about literacy goals for the county and our schools.

I’m Dr. AmyK Conley from Cal Poly Humboldt, and I am joined by Julie Giannini Previde from McKinleyville Union School District. While we’ll be facilitating this group, we will be tapping into teachers’ expertise to improve literacy instruction.
