Authentic Family Engagement is a key to the successful implementation of the community schools model. Spend a day with family engagement experts, CCSLs, and other community school coordinators to learn strategies to bring families into your work this year.

In this session, you will:
– Learn about family engagement in the community schools model
– Practice using asset-framing to communicate with parents and caregivers in your community
– Build action plans for recruiting family leaders for your school community
– Experience Family Villages, an entry-level family leadership program from Partners for Rural Impact.
– You will leave the training ready to host Family Villages in your community.
