Title: Do It Yourself (DIY) Maker Workshop
Content: Are you interested in hosting a Family Maker Night at your school or host a community maker event but don’t know where to start? This workshop will cover the basics of initial development and execution of a small scale event, sharing of activities, and hands-on practice. Participants will have the opportunity to sign their school up to be one of the host sites for 2017-18 HCOE Family Maker Night “Third Thursday”.
Who: Bring yourself or your team. Suggested participants include educators and community members interested in hosting and volunteering at a Maker event
When: Tuesday, August 15, 2017 – 4:00-8:00 pm in the HCOE Redwood Room (located in HERC) – a working dinner will be included
Cost: No charge to participants, however participants will be asked to volunteer to help at the September Family Maker Night on 9/21 in the Sequoia Conference Center at HCOE.
