Best Practices: Responsive Early Education for Children and Families Experiencing Homelessness
Using the CDE publication, “Best Practices: Responsive Early Education for Children and Families Experiencing Homelessness”, we will explore the various definitions and policies in place related to homelessness, explore the diversity of families experiencing homelessness and practice critical reflection. We will also discuss and identify strategies in communication and classroom practice to support young children and families experiencing homelessness.
The first 20 Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or California State Preschool Program (CSPP) staff to register for this session will be eligible to receive a $50 incentive after attending the session. In order to receive the incentive, you will need to complete a short survey and a W9.
