Illiteracy And Sub-Literacy In America (and Around The World) Is A Growing Issue. Awareness is Important, But So Is Action.

- 54% of adults between the ages of 16 and 74 years old lack proficiency in literacy. (Reading below a 6th grade level)
- If all U.S. adults were able to move up to at least Level 3 of literacy proficiency, it would generate an additional $2.2 trillion in annual income for the country, equal to 10% of the gross domestic product.
- The US ranks 125th out of 194 other countries in literacy rate. (Percentage of the population over 15 who can read and write)
