Spanish Language Immersion Institute

—Deadline to register is Friday, June 21—

Take this opportunity to polish old skills, acquire new ones, and enhance your communication skills with students, parents, and others!

This institute provides a week-long opportunity for learning or advancing Spanish language skills. Although the course is just five days, it immerses participants in Spanish language and culture. A small classroom setting (15-to-1 ratio) provides the environment to work at diverse ability levels, from beginning to advanced, and gain the language skills needed to participate in afternoon field experiences.

The Spanish Language Immersion Institute helps prepare participants for the language portion of the LOTE examination and/or to interact in Spanish for work or travel.

Credit: Two units of upper-division extended education credit available for $55 per unit through Dominican University of California; application information available at first class meeting.

Please note: Participants must register and pay the required fee two weeks prior to the first day of class. This program has an enrollment minimum of 45 participants.
