GALE Student Research Databases
Looking for high quality, vetted nonfiction content that you and your students can use for research, current events or literacy development? Check out these two Google-friendly research databases that are loaded with standards-aligned resources, giving students the information literacy skills needed for true college readiness.
Gale in Context Elementary is designed for students and teachers in grades K-5, and Gale in Context Middle School for grades 6-12. Students can browse or search for topics, collect and annotate articles, and access citation tools easily. Teachers can locate timely and authoritative reading selections for close reading activities and more. These databases also work seamlessly with Google Drive and Classroom, meaning they are excellent for both whole class instruction and personalized learning.
