Facing Climate Anxiety through Environmental Literacy, Art, and Gratitude

with Jesse Wheeler

Give students the tools to face anxiety by building gratitude through research and writing. Students can reconcile feelings that may be brought on by climate anxiety by writing an in memoriam and creating a memorial wreath. This lesson can also be adapted to address grief as encountered through literature or lived experience.

One Unit of Academic Credit & Participation Stipend Available

Attend at least five sessions and you will be eligible to register for one unit of credit from Cal Poly Humboldt’s Office of Extended Education and you can receive a $200 participation stipend from RWP.
