Tech Tools for Student/Parent Engagement & Communication
Do you desire a free web presence that will increase both student and parent engagement, collaboration, and communication? Do you need time and support to create or revise your current class website? Learn effective applications of both Google Sites and Google Classroom. Explore the uses and relationships between these two online tools and how to successfully implement them. This series of workshops is facilitated by RWP Teacher Consultants and designed to support educators in their use of technology in the classroom. These workshops are applicable to all grades and computer skill levels.
Session 1 10/13 & 10/20): Google Platform Overview & Teacher Apps: Preparing and Organizing Content for Web Presence
Session 2 (10/27 & 11/3): The Basics: Classroom Websites & Classroom Management Systems Using Google
Session 3 (11/10 & 11/17): Advanced Training: Classroom Websites & Classroom Management Systems Using Google
Dates: October 13-November 17, 2015
Days and Times: Tuesdays, 4:30pm-7:30pm
Location: Pacific Union Elementary School Tech Lab
Fees: $75 per session, $130 for 2 sessions, $200 for all sessions (does not include units)

HSU Extended Education Units Offered: The cost for professional development unit credit is $40 for 0.5 unit and $80 for 1.0 unit. Online registration and credit card payment information will be provided on the first day of each workshop session.
