Dear ERWC Educators,

We know these are challenging times for everyone involved in education, and we are working to provide support to you as you work to meet the needs of your students. In that spirit, the ERWC Steering Committee is offering two one-hour online sessions facilitated by Jen Roberts to help teachers make the adjustment to online teaching and learning. Jen is a high school teacher, Google for Education Certified Innovator, and the co-author of Power Up: Making the Shift to 1:1 Teaching and Learning.

We are also offering two sessions facilitated by Chris Street, Professor of Secondary Education at CSU Fullerton, and Lori Campbell, English Teacher at Kern High School District.

All sessions are free of charge. To protect the integrity of our ERWC curriculum, and prevent unhelpful session crashers, we are asking you to register in advance for the sessions

Session Two: Tuesday, April 14, at 3:00 PM PDT – Jen Roberts

In this one hour session you will learn about multiple tools and strategies for engaging your students in online learning. We will focus on methods that help you see student progress and foster student interaction.

Sessions will be recorded and posted in the ERWC online community.

#ERWC Slow Twitter Chat

For those of you on Twitter, we also invite you to join a slow Twitter chat happening now using the #ERWC hashtag. You can search that tag at any time to find the question of the day and contribute or ask a question at any time that is convenient for you.

We hope you will join us through any of these initial online sessions, and/or via the #ERWC hashtag as we come together as a community to support each other through this challenging period of history.
