This workshop is designed for Career Technical Education teachers and work-based learning service providers in programs such as WorkAbility, Transition Partnership Program, Indian Education, WIOA and more.

Job health and safety skills are a part of the work ready skills included in WBL education.  Learn how to teach health and safety critical thinking skills using fun activities in which students are actively engaged.

You will learn how to use the Youth@Work curriculum to engage your students.  This is a free curriculum available from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).  The training will include tools to help ensure that external field placements meet safety and health responsibilities to keep student learners safe.
