Why: To learn about this upcoming balanced literacy, research-based program

This presentation will provide participants with an overview of this new and exciting comprehensive ELA program. This research-based program includes all aspects of balanced literacy: read aloud, shared reading, guided reading, independent reading, phonics, book clubs, mini-lessons, writing about reading, EL support and more for PreK-6th grade. This fall the PreK-2nd grade curriculum will be released, however, this preview will also share information about the upcoming 3-6th grade classroom materials.
